Roy Van Doorn owns City Select, a Charlottesville, Virginia based marketing organization, that specializes in curated local visitor information.
Since 2000, City Select has provided visitors and guests in the greater Charlottesville area information and guidance in the form of brochures, guides, maps, mobile websites, and publishes a yearly coffee table style hard-bound in-room books titled Discover Charlottesville. City Select represents the full range of hospitality from dozens of restaurants, UVA, the craft and wine industry as well as attractions.
Service to the community is important, and in 2021 Roy serves as Treasurer of the Downtown Business Association of Charlottesville, the Charlottesville Chapter President of the Virginia Restaurant Lodging Travel Association, and as a Commissioner for the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport Authority.
